Maya Ish-Shalom is an Israeli illustrator living in Brooklyn. She graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2014. In her work she explores the emotional landscape of everyday life— ranging from sadness to happiness, sometimes conjuring a dramatic mix of both. She likes to tell stories through her illustrations, often jumping between paper and digital techniques. Her work includes projects and commissions for print and digital publishing, editorial, children's books, and animation.
